Pamela Rauleder –

Founder of Yoga Sanctuary

Pamela’s own yoga teaching journey began in the Indian Himalayas in 2003, where she trained to become a yoga teacher in a small Ashram practicing ancient and sacred techniques of yoga. A few years later she had the privilege to study in the house of her mentors in India – famed yogis AG, Indra and Ganesh Mohan and learned how to adapt yoga to the individual using Yoga, Ayurveda and yoga therapy. She has continued her connection and studies with the Mohans to this date.

Her passion is to empower you towards ongoing health, wellbeing and joy using a combination of unique skills, techniques and intuition, which are not normally taught in a yoga class. Pamela’s unique gift is to offer yoga that meets the unique needs of each individual holistically.

Pamela has studied extensively with experts in the field of yoga on women’s health, and major life transition (pregnancy, menstruation, menopause), such as Judith Lasater, Donna Fahri and Janice Clearfield. Restorative yoga, healing practices and ancient ritual/intention form the bases of her teaching. She is a trained meditation teacher, qualified transpersonal Art Therapist and  practitioner of the Australian Bush Flower Essences. Growing up in Germany within a household of using plants and natural medicines to heal, she loves combining western modalities and with ancient disciplines from India such as Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy.

Pamela has been teaching classes, 1:1 sessions, retreats and workshops for over 15 years. She is a “maven” for  themindfulmum.com and a former ambassador for Lululemon Athletica Sorrento. She works as a freelance writer for Gründerszene (Germany) and for public broadcaster SBS where she produces a podcast on health and wellbeing. For over a decade, she has been part of the core organisers of Yogafest Retreat (a charity yoga festival run on the Mornington Peninsula). Overs summer, Pamela collaborates with a team of enthusiastic teachers to bring Yoga Sanctuary Beach Yoga to the Mornington Peninsula Beaches and Phillip Island.

Pamela is a home birth mother of two gorgeous girls and runs the monthly “Sacred Motherhood circle” on the Mornington Peninsula.
